The majority of robot vacuum cleaners best vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with a specialized application. You can save your home's maps and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop consumes.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it is naturally packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It removed 98.4% debris on all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
As with most robot vacuums and mop combinations The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after auto vacuum and mop option, which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
